Forever: The Campaign for Forest Park's Future will raise $130 million for Forest Park. A significant portion of this total — $100 million — will be used to expand the endowment for Forest Park, ensuring that there will always be maintenance funds available to keep the Park in great shape.
Forest Park Forever is raising an additional $30 million to complete urgent and exciting capital projects called for in the 1995 Forest Park Master Plan. Highlights of a few of these projects can be seen below. Note: Renderings (by SWT Design) are proposed and are considered for conceptual purpose.
A connected Forest Park waterway and inviting natural areas
From crumbling roads to new safe, accessible roads, sidewalks and crossings
From partial-year, stand-alone restrooms to new year-round restrooms, new gathering plazas and an expanded path system
Where Jefferson Lake now ends, an iconic new water feature and destination
An additional "Visuals" note: Forest Park Forever is working with photographer Michael Eastman on introducing a new series of images of Forest Park. You can learn more about this here.
